The Animated Literacy Book of Printing, Drawing, & Labeling Activities

Repetition is necessary to reach fluency in reading and writing, but doing the same thing the same way over and over again can get boring.  One way to avoid this boredom is to vary the level of assistance.  When first completing a challenging task, the task can be performed with assistance.  The task can then be repeated later with little or no assistance.  Another way to avoid boredom is to change the appearance or form of the task.  Animated Literacy takes advantage of both of these techniques.  The printing book includes many of the activities from other lessons, but the format of the pages is unique to this book.  Pages are provided for each of the sounds taught in Animated Literacy.  The order of the pages follows the suggested sequence provided in The Story, Song, and Action Book and The Draw to Read and Write

Book.
